Jul 21st - Fêtes des quartiers du Nord at Flamands Beach. Regattas, music and fireworks.
Aug 3rd to 4th - Fête du Vent - Regatta, music and fireworks in Lorient.
Aug 15th - Assumption Day and St. Bart's Pitea Day - Religious and public holiday commemorating the special relationship between St. Bart's and Pitea, Sweden. Sailing regatta.
Aug 17th to 18th - Festival of Gustavia. Dragnet fishing contests, pinochle and domino competitions, regattas, dances, parties, fireworks, live music.
Aug 24th - Festival of St. Barthelemy, Patron Saint feast day. Church bells peal, flags unfurl, boats are blessed. Regatta, procession with blessing of the sea, wreath-laying ceremond at War Memorial, wining and dining, fireworks, live music, public ball.
Aug 25th - Feast of St. Louis. In village of Corossol with fishing contests, regatta, fireworks, live music.
Aug 28th - Seniors Day - Special events and merriment for older citizens by island children.
Nov 1st - All Saints Day - Public and religious holiday. From dusk on, cemeteries decorated with hundreds of lighted candles. Note: All Souls Day (Nov 2nd) is also a public holiday.
Nov 24th - Swedish Marathon Race. Traditional annual race of 2, 5, 10 and 15 Kms for runners from all over the world. Races for men, women and children. Entertainment.
Dec 7th to 8th - Mondial Billes - International marble shooting competition, organized by Radio Transat.
Dec 24th to 25th - Christmas. Midnight Mass/Réveillon, Christmas Eve; gifts/feasting; Christmas Day.
